Our downsizing service helps you plan your new home before moving day. We can create detailed furniture plans using the measurements of your new property, so you can see where your existing furniture could go and identify which pieces will fit before you move.
We'll take the time to understand which items are important to you, including those with sentimental value, and help you decide what can make the move with you and what may need to be sold or passed on. The aim isn't simply to have less furniture, but to help you create a home that still feels like yours.
We can also create simple visuals and furniture layouts to help you picture how your furniture will look in your new home. With your permission, we can visit your new property to help with the planning process, and we can advise on colours, soft furnishings and finishing touches to make your new home feel comfortable, familiar and personal.

Downsizing can involve making difficult decisions about belongings that have been part of your life for many years. We're here to offer practical advice, reassurance and a friendly pair of eyes when you need them — helping you make decisions at your own pace and feel confident about your new home.
We can also help with sourcing new, appropriately sized furniture where needed and planning where everything will go. If you'd like some extra support on the day itself, we can offer optional Moving Day Support, helping to oversee the furniture placement and make sure everything goes where planned, so you don't have to worry about making those decisions while the removal team is there.
